Although Honda models were much more present on Slovenian roads in the past, the Honda Civic Type R remains the "road rocket" that we still like to look back on today. It enters the 2023 model year refreshed and stronger.
Honda Civic Type R (2023) is the fastest Civic ever to roll out of the Honda factory. Turbine 2.0 liter it has a petrol engine 320 horsepower (235 kW) and 420 newton meters of torque. It is a minor increase in power, as the engine from the previous generation of the Type R model remains almost unchanged, but the engine turbine has been significantly upgraded. Exhaust gases leave the engine through a nearly flat exhaust system that is equipped with an active valve for an even better exhaust sound experience. The drive is connected to the front wheel pair, and it is only available for shifting 6-speed manual gearbox.
The new generation Honda Type R is slightly longer and wider than the previous generation. The chassis has also been adapted to this, and has been practically completely redesigned. Rim size reduced to 19-inch, and the front wheel pair this time has slightly wider tires.

It could be described as more mature, but daring enough to keep us reaching for it first. The new Type R has a modified air deflector, but the now well-known triple exhaust pipe finish remains. The interior is available in combination Red and black color and is almost identical to the interior found in the ʺregularʺ Honda Civic.
