It's almost champagne time. The new year is just around the corner. But before we open the champagne, we have to cool it down to the right temperature. In principle, sparkling wine is served chilled to a temperature between 6 and 9 °C. But with so many things happening to us during the last hours of the year, it often happens that the champagne is not chilled to the right temperature. Nothing is lost, though, as there's a great trick to chilling champagne at the last minute, 1, 2, 3.

Yours champagne, which you reserved for the new year, is not available cooled to the correct temperature, and only a little time separates you from midnight? Don't panic! There is a trick, a shortcut, with which you can cool the champagne at the last minute ideal temperature, and that's 1, 2, 3, so that the champagne will flow out of the bottle as it should.

To quickly cool the champagne you need bottle bucket, ice cubes, water and the secret ingredient – salt. You can see how the cooling process takes place, which is much faster than "natural" cooling (that is, in the refrigerator), in the attached video.
