How to treat dry skin in the most natural way possible?

All of us who face this problem know how unpleasant rough and itchy skin is. That's why we have to be even more careful to try to retain moisture as much as possible to keep our skin soft and smooth. We present to you natural ways of caring for dry skin that are wise to stick to.

1. Avoid hot showers.

Hot showers may feel sensational, but unfortunately, they are one of the worst things for exacerbating dry skin. The same goes for hot bubble baths. Washing with lukewarm water is recommended. If we can't avoid a hot shower, then let's at least try to protect our face.

2. The lotion must be applied immediately after showering.

Moisturizers on their own do not hydrate the skin as well as when combined with the moisture that is still on our skin. It is very important to use the lotion immediately after showering and before opening the bathroom door, as this keeps the necessary moisture in the bathroom and avoids cold air.

3. Let's use oil.

In the fight against dry skin, it is necessary to use the right products. Scented lotions that are water-based are useless for dry skin. It is recommended to use rich creams or petroleum jelly and of course to use natural oils such as almond, jojoba, olive, rosehip oil, macadamia oil, apricot oil or coconut oil. These are oils that strengthen our skin and help fight wrinkles and acne, while at the same time creating supple and beautiful skin.

4. Let's not forget about exfoliation.

Skin moisturizers work much more effectively if the skin is exfoliated first. It is recommended to exfoliate once or twice a week. You can opt for the homemade version and mix two teaspoons of sugar (or salt) with a tablespoon of oil (olive or coconut). The peeling is then gently massaged into the skin in circular motions.

5. We decide to buy an air humidifier.

Humidifiers are a great way to expose your skin to moisture, especially during the dry and cold months. The recommended setting of our air humidifier is around 60 percent, as this is the best way to moisturize the top layer of leather.

Fish oil and marine collagen are two very effective ingredients that moisturize the skin from the inside out. They work well individually, but it's the combination that can lead to an almost perfect complexion. Fish oil will ensure that our cells are healthy and have enough moisture, and marine collagen will slow down the effects of aging and the damage caused to our skin by a polluted environment.
