The new Huawei P20 series brings as many as three phones that promise a winning combination and at the same time bring a revolution in the field of mobile photography. The best Huawei P20 Pro model is equipped with as many as three cameras. Which is unique.
It is at an exclusive presentation in the Grand Palais (Paris). Huawei Consumer Business Group showed the world for the first time the long-awaited Huawei P20 and P20 Pro. The Huawei P20 Pro boasts the first triple Leica camera with 5x hybrid zoom, and both devices bring advancements artificial intelligence unprecedented, enabling a stunning new intelligent camera experience.
The mobile photography revolution
The advanced camera system captures more light, more detail and more beauty, and it also boasts the highest number of pixels that any smartphone is capable of capturing. The camera on the P20 Pro is assembled 40 MP large color (RGB) sensor, 20 MP large monochrome sensor and 8 MP large sensor with telephoto lens. The sensors have front-mounted lenses with f/1.8, f/1.6 and f/2.4 apertures that help capture every detail with perfect clarity.
The Huawei P20 also features a brand new Leica dual camera. It boasts a sensor that captures images in the size of 12 MP (with pixels in the size of 1.55 μm), and a monochrome sensor that captures photos in the size of 20 MP. This improves photo capture in low light conditions.
Devices from the P20 series support image stabilization in six directions and super slow motion with 960 frames per second (that's as much as 4 times slower than 240 fps footage), capturing things the naked eye can't.
It's also brand new 4D predictive focus. In this mode, the camera can predict how the objects will movei, and focuses the image with extraordinary efficiency. That's how it captures the smallest details of objects, which are in motion. The novelty of the P20 series is also help in composing a composition with the help of artificial intelligence (AI-Assisted Composition), which intelligently suggests how to frame the frame for group and landscape photos.
The P20 and P20 Pro have on the front selfie camera with a 24 MP large sensor. The camera makes it possible beautification with the help of artificial intelligence and 3D portrait lighting. This results in beautiful selfies with perfect skin tones, delicately rendered facial details and realistic 3D enhancements.
Inspired by light, fashion and technology
The Huawei P20 series boasts an exceptional aesthetic that puts fashion and design at the fore. This is the most noticeable in new exclusive color versions: Twilight and Pink Gold. Light hitting the surface is reflected with a vibrant but gradual change of hues. The P20 and P20 Pro are also available in colors Black and Midnight Blue. In addition to all the colors, the P20 is also available in color Champagne Gold.
5.8-inch screen on the P20 and 6.1-inch screen on the P20 Pro boast of ultra thin edge and an exceptional ratio between the surface of the screen and the surface of the front part. Screen Huawei FullView blends elegantly with the rounded edges, making the device more comfortable to hold.
With the help of the processor Kirin 970 and interface EMUI 8.1, which is based on the Android system 8.1, the P20 series offers superior performance and a smooth user experience.
Huawei P20 Lite will be available in Slovenia still in March (389.99 euros). The Huawei P20 is coming April 9 (689.99 euros), and the P20 Pro April 16 (899.99 euros).
Porsche Design: the new luxury
Huawei also introduced Porsche Design Huawei Mate RS (Race Sport), which continues cooperation with the exclusive luxury brand. This phone also boasts of Leica triple camera. As the first phone in the world, it has a built-in PCM technology with micro capsules. It is a cooling technology that originates from space technologies and enables operation in a safe temperature range. In addition, the Mate RS also has a built-in fingerprint reader located under the display. This allows users to wake up the device by holding their finger over the glass. Mate RS has a built-in 6-inch curved OLED screen with resolution 2K. It is available in black, and for the first time also in attractive red color. There is currently no information on when it will be available in Slovenia.
