It's available with front- or all-wheel drive and pulls up to 2,268 kg (5,000 lbs).
But… the real show starts with the hybrid.

A new one hybrid version combines 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with two electric motors, which are integrated into a 6-speed automatic transmission. The total system power is 329 horsepower (245 kW) and what 460 Nm of torque (339 lb-ft).
For easier comparison: this is 42 hp more than the Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid MAX and significantly more torque than most competitors.
Consumption? Hyundai is aiming for 30 mpg highway (7.8 l/100 km), which is a great number for an almost 5-meter SUV. The hybrid can tow up to 1,814 kg (4,000 lbs) – that is, much more than conventional hybrids.
Korean Futurism: Interiors and Technology
The 2026 Hyundai Palisade not only upgrades the engine, but the entire experience. The cabin is completely redesigned, with elegantly integrated two 12.3-inch screens, which are connected into one visual unit.
They added a bunch of physical buttons (thanks, Hyundai), a new 15W wireless charger with cooling fan, and full connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – without a cable. Voice control is also more advanced, with artificial intelligence that learns your habits.
Seats? There will be four types of upholstery available: fabric, artificial leather, real leather and NappaA new off-road-oriented version will also be available for the first time XRT Pro, with a special chassis, different geometry and accessories for off-road driving.
Design with a vision: aerodynamic square
The new 2026 Hyundai Palisade is more angular in design, emphasizing its SUV character. The large, upright grille with an "H"-shaped light signature blends with the LED daytime running lights, which are now even more pronounced.
Despite the wider and higher front grille, Hyundai knows how to play with its massiveness effectively – the drag coefficient is 0,31, which is exceptional for an SUV in this class. This is also ensured by the active aerodynamic flaps on the lower part of the grille.
When is it coming, how much will it cost?
Palisade 2026 with V6 engine should be on the market already summer 2025, while hybrid version follows in autumn the same year.
Prices are not yet known, but based on the current model (from $38,675, approximately 36,000 EUR) we expect new versions to start somewhere around there $40,000 (€37,000), and the hybrid will probably be closer $45,000 (€42,000), especially in higher packages. XRT Pro? Count on around $50,000 (€47,000).
