IKEA has joined forces with Swedish House Mafia to democratize music production at home and empower many music lovers to express their creativity. The result of the collaboration is the OBEGRÄNSAD collection, which will go on sale in October this year.

The OBEGRÄNSAD collection, which means "unlimited" in Swedish, appeals to everyone who values the musical experience at home and elsewhere: music fans, music producers, DJs and all creators with limited resources and unlimited creativity. The development of technology has made music democracy possible, so the collection aims to support the creative efforts of the many people who create, perform or enjoy music at home.
The collection consists of more than 20 solutions for smart home equipment, both for music production and performance, as well as for listening to music and creating a relaxed atmosphere. OBEGRÄNSAD is designed as an affordable collection in a classic black aesthetic with a minimalist, elegant design that supports the use of technology. As they say at Swedish House Mafia: "the design of our collection is characterized by the theme of eternity with a noticeable trace of our DNA." At IKEA, they hope that promising DJs and music producers will recognize the benefits of the OBEGRÄNSAD unit with shelves, a new version of the KALLAX rack, which is designed with extra space for amplifiers and tall objects; OBEGRÄNSAD desks with speaker stands and pull-out shelf; as well as OBEGRÄNSAD stand for laptop, tablet and speakers. The set of lighting, which also includes ambient light in the OBEGRÄNSAD clock and soft furniture, are the basis for creating an atmosphere that enables complete immersion in the flow of creativity.
