Jealousy is not a sign of love, nor is it romantic, nor is it cute

Do you know what jealousy really is? It's a sign of insecurity when you view your partner as a must-have. It is a negative emotion that indicates that you need to work on yourself and not on love.

Feelings like jealousy indicate mistrust. You are incapable of trusting that someone loves you and won't hurt you, and you constantly undermine that trust. None of this is healthy, neither for you nor for the person you love, and it certainly does not lead to a happy relationship, but only to arguments and conflicts that can lead to a breakup.

To truly love means to believe, to give your best, to become a better person, to accept, to understand.

Love is what unites, not what separates.

Jealousy is in no way justified, even if it occurs in small amounts. There is no such thing as sweet jealousy. There is nothing pleasant about him. Even if jealousy provokes a reaction from your partner to prove that he loves you, ask yourself why do you think jealousy is the only way to get confirmation that you are loved?

There is always a chance that your partner is cheating on you. And whether or not he cheats on you should have nothing to do with your jealousy. If someone cheats on you and betrays your trust, it's about that person, not you.

You will never be able to control a person, that you love, and if you succeed in this, know that it is not out of love. Love is freedom. You can't force someone to love you and give them even more reasons not to love you with your jealousy.

On the other hand, there is jealousy an indication that you need to work on your own insecurities and see where it comes from. Do you feel like you weren't loved enough as a child or that you weren't shown love?

Your attitude towards love largely depends on your childhood, as the way you understand love often depends on your parents. Certain parental behaviors can cause such insecurities to arise, which in turn can lead to jealousy.

You stop controlling your partner and prefer to love him as he is.
