Almost a week ago, LG officially revealed that it will be fully unveiling its new LG Velvet smartphone on May 7th. The latter replaces the G Thinq series and is also the first smartphone within the brand's new strategy to finally prove to the world how good phones they actually manage to make. So, yesterday, LG posted a video of the phone on its YouTube channel, which shows us the design concept from all angles. Moreover, this video also confirmed and showed that it is a mid-range smartphone. So the one that, as already mentioned, replaces the G Thinq series.
LG Velvet it has a huge screen that will measure just 6.8 inches and it will be in a slightly different ratio than we are used to, namely 20:5.9. Of course he can LG knows how to make great screens, so we have no doubt that the experience will be more than good. At the top, there is also an already almost standardized mid-range phone notch in the shape of a teardrop, which hides a selfie camera with 16MP. Speaking of cameras, the latter are one the main trump cards with almost every new phone and at LG they didn't leave it to chance either. The main sensor will have 48MP and pixel duplication technology will keep him company wide-angle lens with 8 MP and 5 MP depth sensor.
The phone is said to be powered by the processor Snapdragon 765 with 5G support and 4,300 mAh battery that you can quickly charge with as much as 30 W. Of course, you can also charge your phone wirelessly. At LG support the standard IP68 (protection against the ingress of hard particles and water), which is actually a feature of phones LG. That will be easy LG Velvet easily "soaked" and will not fail.
Once again, they emphasized their excellence in sound, as the phone is often underestimated stereo sound, which will turn the phone into a real small personal cinema.
