Mercedes-Maybach, the ultra-luxury division of Mercedes-Benz, has announced the release of its first all-electric SUV, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV. The German automaker's latest creation promises a combination of luxury, comfort and durability while delivering a high-performance driving experience.
Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV is built on the same platform as the Mercedes-Benz EQS, which was presented to the public in 2021. The Maybach version offers 321 cm wheelbase, and the overall length of the SUV is substantial 512 cm. The longer wheelbase provides plenty of legroom for rear passengers, who will enjoy a host of luxury amenities, including massaging seats, an integrated refrigerator and an advanced entertainment system.
Under the ʺengine hoodʺ, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV has a twin-motor electric drive that delivers impressive 658 horsepower and 950 newton meters of torque. This allows the SUV to from 0 to 100 km/h accelerate into self 4.4 seconds, making it one of the fastest electric SUVs on the market. The maximum speed of the vehicle is limited to 210 km/h, to increase its reach. Speaking of range, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV is equipped with a battery that provides an estimated range of more than 600 kilometers with one charge. You can charge the battery with a fast charging station from 10 % to 80 % in just 31 minutes.
