Aware of the competition with the Tesla Y, Škoda has quickly upgraded the features of its top model Škoda Enyaq RS 2024, which now offers the same power as the base version of the Tesla Y.
In less than two years since its introduction Enyaq Coupe RS Škoda made some necessary improvements. Latest model for 2024 – Skoda Enyaq RS 2024 – landed in showrooms with an impressive 40 horsepower jump. Twin engines now produce together 335 hp (horsepower), making it Škoda's most powerful car to date, surpassing even the upcoming 261-hp Superb from in 2024. Thanks to this new electric power, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in a mere five and a half seconds, a whole second faster than before. But it's still a completely basic Tesla Y with its 299 hp, close behind this sporty Škoda.
Despite the extra power Skoda Enyaq RS 2024 it doesn't sacrifice range. In fact, it is more efficient than its predecessor. The electric motors have been recalibrated – i.e. re-tuned, and new power management software has also been added, giving an extra 24 km (15 miles) of range for RS, for a total of 541 km (336 miles) – realistically around 400 kilometers. If you choose the "coupe" version, you will get an additional 26 km, which means a total of 340,547 km of range according to the WLTP standard.
And as if that wasn't enough, Škoda has also increased the DC charging power at Too bad Enyaq RS 2024 from 135 kW to 175 kW, which reduces the battery charging time from 10 to 80 percent by eight minutes. The whole process now takes about 28 minutes.
In addition to these technical improvements, the model Skoda Enyaq RS it also brings updates to the graphic interface of the digital instrument, the projection screen and the infotainment system. What's more, this year Enyaq also acquired the luxurious equipment of Laurin & Klement.
