The symphony orchestra from Nova Gorica NOVA Filharmonija is preparing the New Year's Capriccio holiday concert in various cities.
NEW Philharmonic is an association whose purpose is to present classical music to a wider audience in a more fun and relaxed way. They will also implement this with New Year's Capriccio, which will take place in December and January in various cities. They will start and finish in their native Nova Gorica, and in between they will also visit Ajdovščina, Ljubljana and Kamnik.
Under musical direction Simon Perčič will start the program with Sibelius's Finlandia and end with Bedrich Smetana's Bartered Bride, in between there will be a lot of interesting, but above all, listenable things going on, which will be provided by the soloists of the NOVA Philharmonic and Maurizio Marchesich with the bandoneon.
