Nikon camera with four lenses

Nikon is designing a compact camera that has four lenses! The idea is not entirely new, because last year we already wrote about the Light L16 camera, which has 16 individual lenses built into the housing, which are divided into different groups with different focal lengths (between 35 and 15 mm). In July 2016, the company also successfully raised funds to start production, and now we have discovered that Nikon is also planning something similar, planning a compact camera with four separate lenses and sensors in a single body.

Nikon has filed a patent for a compact camera that boasts four lenses and sensors and it follows the camera's tracks Light L16, cameras of countless lenses, resolutions 52 million pixels (DLSR camera quality). Nikon filed a patent for a "four-eye" camera back in 2013.

The specialty of the Nikon camera is not only the four lenses, but also the position of the sensors, which are placed on the side, so it is easy camera body much thinner. At the same time, the quartet of smaller sensors enables the capture of photos at the same level as a camera with a larger sensor. In addition, multiple lenses and sensors make it possible to capture quality photos as well in low light conditions and adjusting the focal length after taking the shot. You will have to wait a little longer for more data, but until then you can refresh the memory of the camera Light L16, which is already on sale.
