The beginning of the end for one of the most legendary supercars. The Nissan GT-R R35, an icon that defined a generation, is preparing for its final act in 2025. In this article, we bring you everything you need to know about the farewell edition of this Japanese engineering marvel.

Since its debut in 2007, it has Nissan GT-R R35 exceeded all expectations, stood alongside the greatest and proved that dreams are achievable. After 17 years of innovation and track dominance, the time has come, yes Nissan GT-R R35 complete his mission. But not without a final tribute – an exclusive series that will only cement his legendary status.

For the 2025 model year, it will Nissan GT-R R35 available in several versions, from the base Premium Edition with a new Blue Heaven interior to the higher specification Track Edition and T-Spec, which boast technologies previously only available in the NISMO Special Edition. These models will be adorned with aluminum certification plates and gold numbers on the engine wall, a symbol of exclusivity and prestige.

Under the hood remains the beastly 3.8-liter V6 twin-turbo engine with 565 hp (419 kW), paired with a dual-clutch, Bilstein DampTronic suspension, RAYS 20-inch forged aluminum wheels, and an ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive system. Unless, of course, you've got your eyes on the NISMO variant, which bumps its output to 600 hp (447 kW) and 481 lb-ft of torque (652 Nm), while also adding an exclusive carbon aero package that reduces weight and improves performance.

Prices start at ¥14,443,000 (approx. US$96,900) for the GT-R Pure Edition and go all the way up to ¥30,613,000 (approx. US$205,400) for the top-of-the-line GT-R NISMO Special Edition, which will be available exclusively in the Japanese market starting this June.
