Spring is - psychologically, emotionally and energetically - the time when we can breathe easy again. At the transition of the seasons, changes occur not only in nature, but also in our body. You know, in winter we exercise less, eat heavier food, and as a result, harmful substances accumulate in our body, which we need to get rid of in spring. This is where fasting comes in, detoxifying the body during which we drink fruit and vegetable juices. A one-day fast with vegetable and fruit juices helps with weight loss, stimulates the functioning of our liver, detoxifies the body, prevents indigestion, strengthens the immune system, restores energy, and our body also tolerates the summer heat more easily after fasting. A one-day fast with fruit and vegetable juices is an excellent choice, because we are rarely hungry during this type of fast, and the juices also thoroughly cleanse our body and feed it with the necessary nutrients.

One-day fast - procedure:

We start the day with a glass of lukewarm water into which we squeeze the juice of half a lemon. The morning continues with dry brushing of the entire body and a shower. Instead of breakfast, we brew half a liter of herbal tea, which we drink until "lunch". At lunch time, use a blender or juicer to prepare a juice from fresh fruit or vegetables and water, which replaces the main meal of the day. We continue the day by drinking unsweetened teas and water, since during fasting we must enter at least 2 liters of liquid into the body. This is the only way to adequately hydrate the body, and the liquid also helps in cleaning the body. In the evening, we prepare juice again from fresh fruit or vegetables and consume it instead of dinner. We choose from vegetables that are famous for their purifying effects. These are carrots, cabbage, celery, cucumbers and beets. During a one-day fast, we forget about coffee, alcohol, sugar and flour. If the hunger is too severe, we will cause the least "damage" with nuts, which are a treasure trove of vitamins and minerals. When the one-day fast is over, don't forget to continue with the spring diet, in which we include as many raw vegetables and stimulating spices as possible, which contribute to a faster metabolism (cinnamon, ginger, chili...). Only a light diet ensures an easy spring step...

Process:
Vegetables and fruits are cleaned and cut into small pieces, which are then juiced in a juicer. If you don't have a juicer, grind all the ingredients in an electric mixer.
