However, fans of the manufacturer look less at the competition and are definitely interested in whether the Oppo Find X5 Pro can surpass the enthusiasm of its predecessor?
The Chinese electronics manufacturer no longer has to hide behind industrial giants, as it has established itself in the high-end field of technical devices in recent years. According to the online technology magazine “Trusted Reviews”, the Find X3 Pro was the best smartphone tested in 2021. With the number four, which is considered unlucky in China, 2022 is followed by the X5 Pro, which is under a lot of pressure and anticipation professional public. Looks like they got it right again.
Oppo has historically impressed with its displays - this trend continues with the Find X5 Pro: the 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with WQHD+ resolution (3216 x 1440 pixels) is colorful and rich, with perfect black tones and great brightness for outdoor use. One of the features that users will be happy about is Air Gestures. The smartphone reacts to hand movements in front of the screen without touching the screen. You can also use the device perfectly with dirty hands, when cooking, painting or in the gym. How this technology works in practice will have to be thoroughly tested. Like most smartphones, the Oppo Find X5 Pro is camera-centric. As a result, the Chinese have teamed up with Swedish camera maker Hasselblad for a new series of smartphones, making a move that competitor OnePlus made some time ago. The Pro's main camera has both a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 110-degree field of view. A 13-megapixel telephoto camera completes the triple camera setup. In addition, Oppo uses real glass instead of plastic lenses to "reduce distortion and improve color accuracy." A 32-megapixel selfie camera is used on the front. But something has also happened on the software side as a result of the new collaboration: buyers get, among other things, filters inspired by Hasselblad and an impressive XPAN mode that allows recording with an aspect ratio of 65:24.
The Oppo Find X5 series will be available in stores from March 21, 2022 - also via this link! As the absolute flagship, the Find X5 Pro will cost 1,299 euros and is therefore on the same level as the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Which is basically quite a challenge considering the brand's poor appeal. Find X5 for 999 euros and Find X5 Lite for 499 euros complete the new line of smartphones. When it comes to colors, Pro buyers can choose between white and matte black.
