Panasonic Lumix GH5 Mark II: A remaster of a great camera that excites videographers

Photo: Panasonic

Since its introduction in 2009, Panasonic's Lumix GH series has emerged as a camera for creators who need a balanced tool for excellent, clear photography while offering robust video performance. As the system has evolved over the years, so has its base of creators and believers in Lumix products, and so this brand is extremely present among video creators.

With launch Lumix GH5M2 Panasonic took its powerful GH5 camera, which has quite a few years under its belt and made it a bit more video focused. Like its predecessor, it is a painting GH5M2 obtained from 20.3MP "Micro Four Thirds" sensor. However, this time the sensor has been treated with an anti-reflective coating. Even better is the fact that Panasonic equipped the camera with a processor Venus Engine, which allows Cinema 4K footage to be recorded at up to 60p (previously limited to 24p). In addition, the new chip allows for a significant upgrade in autofocus and image stabilization, as GH5M2 offers improved face, eye and body detection. At the same time, the level of image stabilization is exceptional and allows compensations up to 6.5 degrees of shake. One of the best new additions to the camera is live streaming support, which has become crucial to today's digital landscape.

The new Lumix GH5 M2 will be available from Slovenian retailers at a price of around 2,000 euros.
