The saying, one apple a day keeps the doctor away, is unfortunately not scientifically proven. But one thing is certain - they make the most delicious desserts.
Apple desserts are always well received and refreshing. In front of you is a recipe in which the taste of apples, walnuts, chocolate and cookies intertwine. A great combination!
Balls with apples and walnuts
Ingredients
- 2 apples
- 200 g ground biscuits
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- half a cup of crushed walnuts Glaze
- ¾ cup milk
- 65 g cocoa powder
Directions
- To begin with, peel 2 large apples, cut them into quarters and remove the core. Grate them into smaller pieces. Set the grated apples aside.
- Add cookies, then a teaspoon of cinnamon and half a cup of crushed walnuts.
- Stir the mixture until it comes together. We form balls. Cover with food foil so that they do not dry out. Leave them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the glaze. Mix ¾ cup of milk and 65 g of cocoa powder in a pan and cook until the mixture boils. Stir constantly so that lumps do not form and do not stick to the bottom of the container.
- Remove the boiled and thickened sauce from the heat, transfer it to a bowl and cool it. Then cover each ball with chocolate topping.
