Gin and tonic with watermelon
Ingredients
- 1200 grams of pitted watermelon
- 100 ml of lime juice
- 250 ml of gin
- tonic
- 2 tablespoons of agave syrup
- a few leaves of fresh mint
- ice
Directions
- Remove the pips from the watermelon, cut it into cubes and then put it in a blender. After you have blended the watermelon well, strain it through a strainer or fine cheesecloth to remove the foam that will form. After the procedure, you should get clear juice.
- Then pour the juice into a jug and add agave syrup, lime juice and mint and mix everything well with a spoon. At the end, add gin and mix again. 3. Before serving, fill the glasses with ice, pour a mixture of gin and watermelon juice over them, add tonic at the end.
