Peanut butter is one of those contagious habits that you'd rather eat by the spoonful, but it's also a food that you shouldn't overdo due to its high energy and caloric value. But home-made peanut butter, without sugar, salt, frying peanuts in oil and in limited quantities, becomes a quality source of unsaturated fats, proteins and an addition to a balanced meal.
Homemade peanut butter is amazing easy to make at home – all you need is shelled peanuts and a blender. Be sure to choose peanuts that have not been previously fried in oil and salted, it may be best to shell them yourself.
