Recipe: intoxicatingly fragrant bovla made from orange blossom water, gin and honey

A pinch of the Mediterranean is hidden in this mysterious bowl, as you will find the flowers of Seville oranges, which smell intoxicating.

Seville oranges are most commonly used to make orange blossom water. It is a distillate of fresh flowers, which is used in the cuisine of the Mediterranean and the Middle East. It is a secret ingredient in baklava, salads, desserts and various drinks. This time you will use it in an intoxicatingly fragrant bowl.

Ingridients:

  • 150 ml of gin
  • 20 ml of lime juice
  • 20 ml of grapefruit juice
  • a few drops of orange blossom water
  • 5 spoons of honey
  • 100 ml of cranberry juice
  • 550 ml of lemonade
  • 3 sprigs of mint
  • 3 sprigs of rosemary
  • 1 handful of strawberries
  • ice
  • edible flowers

Mix together all liquid ingredients – gin, lime juice, grapefruit juice, orange blossom water, cranberry juice, lemonade, honey. Then cut slices of orange, lime and strawberry. Serve the liquid mixture in a bowl, add sliced fruit and ice, and garnish with sprigs of rosemary, mint and edible flowers. Serve cold.
