Recipe for rum balls:
Ingredients for rum balls:
- 250 g butter/dry biscuits
- 180 g of coconut flour (80 g for sprinkling)
- 100 g of powdered sugar
- 80 g cocoa powder
- 200 g of butter
- 4 tablespoons of rum
The process of making rum balls:
First, crush the cookies. Then grind them into crumbs "on foot" or in a multi-purpose food processor. Put everything in a bowl and add softened butter cut into pieces, coconut flour, sugar, rum and cocoa (you can also mix in walnuts, hazelnuts or almonds if you wish). Knead the dough from the mass, shape it into a ball and put it in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes (if the mass is too dry, add a few drops of milk). The cooled mass is then formed into balls. Finally, roll each one in coconut flour (can also be ground walnuts, granulated sugar or crumbs). Have a good run!
PS If we are preparing alcohol-free rum balls use milk instead of rum.
