Recipe: flourless orange cake

We have found a recipe for a delicious cake with orange and almonds, for which you do not need flour, and its preparation is extremely simple.

Forget the apple cake - no matter how delicious this dessert is, sometimes our taste buds need distinct citrus flavor. And if you are also a fan almonds, then there is no doubt that you will be in cake with orange and almonds really enjoyed it.
To prepare this cake you don't need flour and plenty of ingredients, and the recipe is also suitable for complete beginners. You can serve it as dessert or treat yourself to it with afternoon coffee.

Cake with orange and almonds

Ingredients

  • 2 unpeeled oranges
  • 6 eggs
  • 360 g ground almonds
  • 250 g of sugar
  • a little butter
  • bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Grease the cake pan with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  2. Wash the oranges, place them in a deep bowl and pour enough cold water to cover them completely. Then cook them on medium heat for about 40 minutes. If during cooking you notice that the oranges are no longer submerged, add a little more water.
  3. Drain the oranges and wait for them to cool. Then cut them, remove the stones and place the orange pieces in a hand blender. Stir until the mixture has the consistency of jam.
  4. Mix the eggs and sugar until you get a thick pale yellow mixture. Add the orange mixture and almonds to the mixture, then pour into the cake pan.
  5. Bake the cake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 50 minutes, then serve it. Bon Appetit!

Additional tips:
