Inventive 71-year-old pensioner assembled a beetle from 50,000 wooden tiles

A 71-year-old pensioner from Banja Luka transformed his old Volkswagen beetle into a real mobile sculpture and with his idea and appearance of the car attracted attention in his hometown and with lightning speed also on the Internet.

71-year-old retired Mojmir Bojić he is from Bosnia volkswagen beetle transformed into an interesting wooden mobile sculpture. He dressed the exterior of the beetle by hand in the 50,000 tiles from oak wood. Almost every detail of the fully functional car, from the wipers to the side mirrors to the tires, was dressed in brown, hand-made oak tiles, using 23 different separate processes. An enthusiastic fan of his bug, he spent more than two years working on it.
