Are you wondering where to sled, where are the good sledding areas?! Winter offers us many opportunities to organize a beautiful family trip that will remain in our memories for a long time, and one of them is certainly sledding. What are the best toboggan runs in Slovenia?

Where to go sledding? That is The 8 best toboggan runs in Slovenia, which promise wonderful winter fun that both you and your little ones will enjoy.

1. Toboggan run on Krvavec

A well-known ski resort Bleeder also offers a sledding adventure. During the day, you can sled on the ski slope outside the groomed ones ski slopes, and in the evening, starting with 3rd weekend in December, the ski resort organizes night sledding, which takes place at on Fridays and on Saturdays from 16.30 to 19.00.
You can sled on a partially lit track Ror, to which a 4-seater takes you Silent valley. To secure your sled, it is best to register on their e-mail before departure komerciala9@rtc-krvavec.si. The price, which includes sled rental and unlimited rides, is for adults 22 €, for the youth 20 €, and for children 17 €. If you already have your own sled, you will pay as an adult 19 €, as young people 17 €, and for your youngest ones 15 €.

2. Toboggan run on Velika planina

Night sledding are also organized at Great mountains namely at on Fridays and on Saturdays from 17. to 20. hours. Sledding takes place along a long, illuminated sledding track 2.4 km, but it should probably start with the last one December weekends.

3. Toboggan run on Kranjska Gora

Kranjska Gora, one of the most popular ski areas, also offers sledding, which you can go on in the winter evenings. Sledding every day from 16.30. hours away in the village Martuljek Forest organizes Agency Juliana, but it is expected to start in mid December.
The price is 17 €, and you can go to two descents, covering approx 5 km sledging pleasures. The agency also organizes transportation to the starting point.

4. Toboggan run on Pohorje

Maribor also offers sledding Pohorje, where you will find two toboggan runs: Bellevue and Arech. There are sledges free of charge, you will only have to deduct the price of the gondola ticket, which costs for adults 6 €, and for children, students and pensioners 3 €.
Especially the Bellevue children's playground is an excellent choice for your little ones, and sledding on it takes place from 14. to 16. hours.

5. Toboggan run near Storžič

You will also find a free toboggan run at Mountain home under Storžič. Tobogganing enthusiasts can go there on a well-maintained toboggan run, which has approx 300 m height differences, and the size 5 km.
You can go sledding in good snow conditions, and the track is also suitable for children. Since they don't offer sled rentals, don't forget your sled before you leave.

6. Toboggan run on Soriška planina

On Soriška mountains they have every day during the operation of the ski resort, which is open from 9 to 16. hours, open children's toboggan run Slatnik. It's long 300 m, it is suitable for younger children, price 3 € and also includes a parking lot.

7. Toboggan run on Planina pod Golica

On Planina pod Golico, you will find a natural sledding track of the Sava Cave, which is approximately 600 m long, well maintained, and offers free sledding. You can go there at any time, and on weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. they usually also offer sled rental, and you can check the rental information on their Facebook pages.

8. Toboggan run near Bohinj

Wonderful surroundings of Bohinj offers you many possibilities for sledding. Toboggan runs can be found at The corner, v Hay harvesters, on Pecks, on Veals, on Goat's back and on Fields. The toboggan runs are free, but if you decide to take a trip to Vogel, you will need to buy a ticket for the swing, which costs for adults 26 €, for young people and pensioners 23 €, and for children 13 €.
