After Sony unveiled the Xperia XZ2 model at MCW in Barcelona a little less than two months ago, this time the Xperia XZ2 Premium saw the light of day. What makes the new smartphone better than its predecessor?
At first glance, there are no major differences between the two phones, as they have a similar design. However, XZ2 Premium is more powerful when it comes to display, camera, battery and other specifications.
XZ2 Premium impresses with 5.8-inch 4K screen, which is definitely a significant improvement from the 5.7-inch Full HD+ display it has XZ2. Both models allow watching videos in HDR technology. They have new ones installed vibration system, which will help make your multimedia experience truly perfect.
The biggest difference between the devices lies in the camera. The XZ2 Premium is the first phone from Sony to offer on the back two cameras. They will work together in the creation of recordings color sensor with a resolution of 19 MP and black and white sensor with a resolution of 12 MP.
It's especially amazing that the XZ2 Premium's optical image stabilization can achieve as much as 51 200 ISO. Image processor AUBE it combines data from both sensors, and it can boast above all that it creates quality photos in low light.
The camera system will allow the use of special modes for creating portrait and black and white photos. Somewhat surprisingly, these two features will only be available with an OS update.
Both phones can record slow motion in frequency 960 frames per second. The front camera has also been improved. The XZ2 Premium takes selfies in resolution 12MP, while the XZ2 is able to do so at 5MP.
Among other things, the XZ2 Premium offers more space on the read-write memory - 6 GB – and a larger battery capacity that is 3540 mAh.
The XZ2 Premium will be available to customers on beginning of this summer. The price is not yet known. Given that the XZ2 is something to be reckoned with 799 euros, it can be expected that the XZ2 Premium will cost close to 1000 euros.
