Effective and simple exercises for daily stress and tension release stimulate the hormone of happiness.

How to encourage happy hormone? With various aspects of taking care of our own well-being, we actually untangle all those knots tied by our ambitious and always active ego.

Come with us on a little journey through the geography of tenderness, incorporate at least a few of these tips and suggestions into your everyday life and unravel all the tensions and insecurities. Let your happy hormone go wild.

A hug

During hugging, the body secretes oxytocin, i.e. the love hormone, which is responsible for the feeling of connection and influences good relationships. This hormone lowers stress and anxiety levels. To experience the true benefits of a hug, stay in the arms of a loved one, child or friend for at least seven seconds.

Less is more

You are used to being surrounded by devices and things that make life and communication easier. You feel like you're missing out on life if you're not next to your computer or phone. Life is in you and around you.

Set aside at least one hour a day where you won't check email, social media, or TV.

Watch what and how you eat

Food isn't just to keep you alive. Introduce foods that stimulate the secretion of serotonin into your diet: bananas, pineapples, kiwi, plums, spinach and walnuts. All these foods have a positive effect on the brain.

In addition to the fact that what you eat is important, remember that how you eat is also important. For at least one meal a day, create the space and atmosphere to truly consciously enjoy the meal. Chew slowly, try to feel all the nuances of the taste and smell of the food, as well as the texture. Thank the food you eat and thank yourself for taking care of your health and well-being.

A walk

If you feel like the day has passed you by and it couldn't get any worse, take a little breather with a walk. Even a short walk can cheer you up and help quiet the noise in your head. Of course, don't forget that walking will stimulate the release of endorphins, our neurotransmitters of happiness. Walks are also recommended when you get stuck in a creative block. Take a break, get out and clear your head.
