Spanish manufacturer of wooden sunglasses Nina Mûr is not only special because of the glasses they design and manufacture, it also stands out for its philosophy. But maybe more about her another time. Ob 100th anniversary of the birth of the great Italian architect and designer Ettore Sottsass are in cooperation with Italian studios Abet Laminates, with which Sottsass also worked, designed it right a special collection of sunglasses, which was inspired by the colors and style of the Memphis Group of artists, which was founded by Sottsass in the early 1980s.
The collection 'Nina Mûr goes to Memphis' consists of two lines, namely z digitally printed laminated details and more basic black and white designs. All glasses are made of 25 birch leaves from Finland and every piece is just right hand painted and polished.
The prices of glasses from the 'Nina Mûr goes to Memphis' collection range between 189 euros and 350 euros.
