That electric bicycles are a trend that is particularly evident even on the sunny side of the Alps, we can see for ourselves in the city centers, where this type of transport is the choice of different generations. Our streets are mostly dominated by S-BIKES bikes from the Špan company, which enters 2017 with two new versions and a renewed star – the Smart 01 folding bike.
A bike
We have already said a lot about bikes, but not everything. Apparently, far from it. The industrial designer Tamas Turi presented his new creation or an idea named Revo. If nothing else, he was obviously guided by the idea "two is better" during the project.
We've seen them on the streets before, haven't we? From a distance, you don't even know if it's a ski or a bike. Well, it's definitely about wheels, just a little smaller, and that's where their advantage lies. We can easily fold them, put them on our shoulders, put them in the trunk, put them under the table in the bar, etc. Let's take a look at the Whippet folding bike, which its creators claim is something special.
Bicycles are the preferred means of transportation anyway, especially in cities where sheet metal on four wheels tends to move slower than any moving body. Have you ever thought about an electric version of the bike? Users claim that they have many advantages. One of them is, let's say, that you don't come to work completely sweaty. This one just drinks water, right? Introducing the Turbo Vado 5.0 bike, which does not look like a normal bike of this type. Let's see why.
Air pollution appears more and more often on the agenda of TV reports, round tables and, after all, also in our conversations. It is a serious problem that especially large cities face, and the Dutch artist and innovator Daan Roosegaarde, who started the "Smog Free" project in 2014, is also aware of this. His first product, the Smog Free Tower, with which he installed the world's first air purifiers of this kind in Amsterdam in 2015, now has a sequel: a bicycle with a purifier.
The story began seven years ago in Italy. It was then that Stefano Zellner found an abandoned bicycle on the street and began to restore it. After weeks of creation in his father's garage, he finally assembled a bicycle that is extremely friendly to the environment and the eyes.
In addition to changing and 'pumping' inner tubes, the most we have to do with the bike is the chain. They rust, crack, peel, and require a lot of maintenance, not to mention we often get our pants dirty with it. If only they weren't there! Your wishes were heard by Sean Chan, who created the Chainless bike.
Bridgestone rocked the rubber scene in 2011 when it introduced the Air Free tire, which it has now prepared for bicycles. It is rubber that cannot be punctured and you do not need a presser for it. The innovative design also reduces rolling resistance.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Salone Satellite, Milan's salon of young designers, the design company Adriano Design produced the Fuoripista, an exercise bike made of glass and wood.
With spring, recreational cyclists also take a look at the plan. Anyone who has ever covered a long distance knows how the butt can start to hurt after a certain time and how painful each jolt can be. With the Rinsten Spring shock absorber, this will no longer be the case. The revolutionary shock absorber can be mounted on any bike, and you don't have to change the seat for greater comfort.
At first glance, this bike looks like just another fixie, but if you look carefully at the color sequence, you'll quickly recognize characters from The Simpsons on the frame of the State Bicycle bike.
After luxury cars and yachts, Bugatti is focusing on luxury bikes. Although the PG Bugatti Bike is far from being as expensive as the rest of Bugatti's means of transportation, it will probably be more difficult for us to afford it. This is a bike that has the price of an SUV.
