The Fabula Festival will herald spring in 2017 as well. Between March 3 and 11, authors who belong to the very top of world literature will visit Ljubljana, and they will be accompanied by a rich festival program, which will be directed by the Immortality focus.

The largest and most famous photography agency in the world, Magnum Photos, is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. On this occasion, three exhibitions will be presented in Ljubljana with a rich accompanying program and with a special emphasis on the work of the central protagonist and co-founder of Magnum, Robert Cape.
The Gallus Hall of Cankarjev dom will be transformed into an ice fairy tale for the second time in its history, as it will host the St. Petersburg State Ballet on Ice on November 11 and 12 this year. The ice stage will represent an excellent basis for a rich and superbly elaborate scenography for the staging of the Nutcracker ballet.
Liffe 2017, the 28th Ljubljana International Film Festival, returns to the halls of Cankarjev dom, Kina Komuna, Kinodvora and Kina Šiška between November 8 and 19, 2017. On September 30, the Musicology Barcaffè Sessions concert series began writing its Ljubljana story extremely successfully in Ljubljana's Cvetličarna with a concert by the legendary British acid jazz band Incognito. They continue on November 24, when Robert Glasper, world jazz star, pianist and producer, will perform in Cankarjev dom as part of his tour, on which he performs together with his trio and the extraordinary DJ Sundance.
On the 100th anniversary of Ivan Cankar's death, a large annual co-production in Cankarjev dom will stage his farce, which teaches us that nothing can ever change and that it is even possible to laugh at this realization. The arrival of the artist Peter upsets the 'chaste' Šentflorians; the blessed valley has nothing to do with cultivating artists and other practitioners. But when Peter plays on their bad conscience, they quickly fall to their knees, and even Zlodej gives up on them.
Flamenco as a genre or artistic genre and also as a way of being is still alive. Its creators are infinitely far from merely recreating ossified musical and dance forms covered with the dust of history. Flamenco is a current that is fueled by contemporary and related creativity, and at the same time it is an inspiration itself.
The Fabula World Literature Festival is the largest and most prominent literary festival in Slovenia and the wider region. It has existed since 2003, and in recent years it has attracted many modern classics to Slovenia: Nobel laureate Herta Müller, Irvin Welsh, Jonathan Franzen, Hanif Kureishi, Janice Galloway, Amitav Gosh, David Grossman, Richard Flanagan and many others. Fabula 2018 will take place between February 28 and March 11, 2018, and this will be the fifteenth year in a row.
Ólafur Arnalds, the most popular Icelandic musician, is coming to Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana in October. Together with his musicians and special instruments, Ólafur Arnalds will perform on the stage of Cankarjev dom on October 13, 2018. On December 22, the Temple of Slovenian Culture will host a choir whose performance is dynamic, and with which they try to bring closer the African-American culture, which is woven into gospel music, better known as devotional music, which is characteristic of churches in the United States. They impressed people all over the world with their message of love, and we believe that it will be the same in Slovenia.
