The alter rock group Garbage will stop in Slovenia for the first time in June 2016. Although the Scottish-American band has been around for 23 years, the face and voice of Shirley Manson, Butch Vig, Duke Erikson and Steve Marker are far from being old fashioned, as their name might suggest. They will take over the stage of Cinema Šiška on June 7, 2016. Tickets are already on sale.
After seven years, Neneh Cherry, an icon of engaged electronic pop and hip-hop, returns to Ljubljana. This time she will visit us with her own band. In addition to old hits such as 7 Seconds, she will present to us the brand new album Broken Politics, which she recorded with Kieran Hebden (Four Tet).
The top-quality Tinderstick, which will soon tick off three decades of operation, are returning to Slovenia. After the triumphant conquest of North Korea, also immortalized in the high-profile film Liberation Day, the cult local band Laibach returned with their first studio album after the 2014 hit Spectre. Also Sprach Zarathustra's 20th studio album, which is already receiving praise from critics all over the world, will be premiered on our soil at Kino Šiška, and of course the performance will be supplemented with other compositions from their extensive repertoire.
"Shoegaze" legends The Jesus and Mary Chain are coming to Kino Šiška. With their dreamy pop structures, they sowed the seeds of this genre in the 1980s and changed alternative rock forever. We will be able to listen to them at the Šiška Cinema on July 5.

Lola Marsh, an indie-folk-pop band from Israel, is coming to Kino Šiška. They are returning to Ljubljana two years after a sold-out and excellent concert, this time with a new, just-released album. They will perform on the stage of Kina Šiška on October 21, 2017. Tickets are already on sale.
In May 2021, Ljubljana will host Metronomy, electro pop heroes who are considered one of the most respected contemporary British bands. During their visit to Kino Šiško, they will present their latest critically acclaimed album Metronomy Forever!
