Summer is here and with it festivals that will once again fill the streets of Ljubljana with a mixture of culture and entertainment. The 69th Ljubljana Festival, the Ana Desetnica street theater festival, Summer in Old Ljubljana, Film under the Stars and the Young Lions festival are just around the corner.
This year's SOF will be different than before, but with a new impetus and full of creative energy. The most important festival of creative communications in Slovenia invites you on September 10 to Litostrojska cesta 56 for a festival day full of interesting content and much-missed socializing, albeit at a distance and, where necessary, with a mask on.
The Indigo 2020 festival will take place between September 8 and 11 at various locations around Ljubljana.
In February, the Ljubljana Festival organizes the Winter Festival 2020 in the Slovenian Philharmonic and the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet. At the fourth, now traditional, selected internationally renowned pianists will perform accompanied by the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and will present the most beautiful piano and symphonic works from Beethoven's vast musical treasury.

The traditional 9th Europark Honey Festival will be dedicated to beekeepers and honey in the largest shopping center in northeastern Slovenia.

November is just around the corner, the most gourmet month in the capital, when the November Gourmet Ljubljana festival is now traditionally taking place with a truly varied culinary program. Soon, the snow cover will be just a sweet memory of winter days, because nature will wake up and the little bells are the first to peek out from under the snow. At the Bell Festival in the Botanical Garden 2019, you will be able to learn more about the little bell, namely you will be able to attend lectures, workshops and performances, you will be able to buy bells and take part in a free guided tour of the Botanical Garden on Saturday and Sunday.
The Golden Drum international festival of creativity is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and for this purpose is returning to the Slovenian coast, to its first home - Portorož. The festival will take place between October 17 and 19 at the Hotel Slovenija, and it will not only bring a change in location, but also a renewed competition program. 22 international experts will evaluate and determine which works reflect the latest trends in the advertising and creative industries.
