Planica 2017 will take place from March 24 to 26, 2017. Last year, an extraordinary 111 thousand spectators gathered in Planica. For the third time, we were able to celebrate the overall victory of Slovenian jumpers in the World Cup. In 1997 and 1998, Primož Peterka finished under Ponci with a big crystal in his hands, and last year the incomparable Peter Prevc repeated this success with a dream season. In 2016, the Slovenians took all the victories from the valley under Poncami, and this year our ski jumpers will be among the favorites in both individual competitions, and we can also hope for a fight for the top in the team competition. Tickets are already on sale.

Slovenia is shaking with jumping fever. On Friday, the first race in ski jumping in the new season (2016/17) is on the schedule, where Peter Prevc, who wrote a golden chapter in the history of ski jumping last season, is starting his title defense. In the dreamy past season, he not only jumped onto the jumping Olympus, he also conquered everything there was to conquer, and at the same time broke many records and raised the appetites of the already demanding Slovenian public, who ate out of the hands of the Slovenian eagles last season. The jumpers are ready for the new season, which starts with Friday's match in Kuusamo (November 25, 2016), followed by a new one on Saturday.
Start the new year actively, boldly, a little differently. Literally jump into the new year! In Portorož, you can jump into the sea on New Year's Day. The 2018 New Year's jump into the sea will be the fourteenth in a row.
We've all landed in the shower after accidentally jumping into the water. Unintentional of course, the burning sensation upon landing is not the most pleasant. But that obviously didn't stop the brave people in Norway, who competed in a diving competition (ti dødsing) from a great height! Check out the incredible jumps that will make you burn at least a little!
This is one of the most adrenaline-pumping shots you've seen in months. When we think of the Swiss Alps and the Alps in general, most of us think of skiing, hiking and mountaineering first, but not Jamie Lee. For him, the Alps are a natural adrenaline park. Watch his heart-pounding high-speed parachute descent past glaciers, canyons and cliffs.
