The Brumen Foundation, in cooperation with the National Gallery, is already preparing the 7th Biennale of Visible Messages of Slovenia, a biennale which is considered the most important retrospective of national visual communications of the last period. It will feature the finalists of the tender, who will be selected by an international jury from among the applicants. The purpose of the exhibition, which opens its doors on October 20, 2015, is to raise the quality of visible messages, where we include everything from print, video production, web design to typography.
7th Biennale of Visible Messages of Slovenia, which will be under the roof from October 20 to November 22, 2015 National Gallery in Ljubljana, will also present this year the best that Slovenia has to initiate in the field of visual communications. Visual communications, or visible messages, is otherwise just a more sophisticated term for graphic design.

Visible messages lurk at every turn. When we hold a smartphone, when we read a book, a catalog or a newspaper, when we look for a department in a store, when our eye catches an advertisement on the road, when we fill out forms,… Everything that surrounds us is related to design in one way or another (architecture, font, advertisements,...) and we will see at the biennale national strawberry selection international juries consisting of names recognized experts of this branch (theoreticians and practitioners) for the past two years. At the exhibition, the jury will distribute scores among the finalists and award the highest awards, i.e Brumn Awards.
