The Nio EC7 is the most aerodynamic SUV in the world, but at the same time, this Chinese car strongly resembles the Tesla Model Y, but in some ways it is more beautiful. It also greatly surpasses the Tesla in terms of range and can cover 700 real kilometers with a single charge. In Europe already next year!

The Nio EC7 is a stylish electric SUV with impressive performance and advanced features. It has a coupe design with a sloping roofline and longer rear overhang and measures 4968mm in length, 1974mm in width, and 1714mm in height. It sits on a 2960 mm wheelbase and has a very low drag coefficient of just 0.23, making it one of the most aerodynamic SUVs on the market. The EC7 has an active rear wing to help it achieve this exceptional value.

Under the “bonnet”, the EC7 is powered by a twin-motor electric drive system that delivers a maximum output of 644 horsepower (480 kW) and 850 Nm of continuous torque. This allows the EC7 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, according to Nio's claims. It is available with three battery pack options – 75 kWh, 100 kWh and 150 kWh – with a range of 490 km to 940 km on a single charge, according to China's CLTC cycle. Which, of course, is more than a great number and thus far surpasses the Tesla models.

The EC7 is packed with luxury features, including a panoramic double-glazed glass roof for sound and thermal insulation. Nio's adjustable electrochromic (EC) technology allows for five levels of adjustable transmittance, allowing natural light to filter into the cabin or provide complete privacy protection when needed. The EC7 is also equipped with a tri-zone climate control system, a premium audio system with 23 speakers, and heated rear seats.

Nio is taking pre-orders for the EC7 in China, with deliveries expected to begin in May 2023. Prices start at $70,100 for the base model with a 75 kWh battery, while the 100 kWh battery version starts at $78,447 $. A Chinese luxury crossover that is expected to go on sale in Europe next year. And we're all looking forward to it.
