The world's most repulsed private mega-truck

An American entrepreneur has developed the largest mega-truck in the world, with which he and his family will go to explore deserts and active volcanoes.

It rarely happens that an individual decides to build something that works as if she participated in its creation the military, NASA, or an RV company. But Bran Ferren is no ordinary man, because at the age of 61, as the former head of research and development at Disney, he has a lot of experience with fantasy projects that he has transferred to the screen or to reality. During his career, he also worked with the GM and Intel concerns, as well as the US Air Force.

Mega truck Kiravan (he named it after his four-year-old daughter Kira), he has been developing it with the help of engineers from his company Applied Minds for the past four years, and now the vehicle is ready for its first drive. Kiravan is based on to the six-wheeled Mercedes-Benz Unimog, from which the engineers removed practically everything except chassis, steering mechanism and engine, on which they built a completely unique all-terrain vehicle for overcoming the most difficult terrains.

To drive this almost The 16 meter long monster is powered by a Mercedes V6 diesel engine, which develops 191 kW or 260 hp, and they added to it almost 650 liter tank for fuel, with the help of which the Kiravan can overcome over on a single charge a distance of three thousand kilometers. The vehicle also has a special hydro drive drive, where the driver can if necessary switches between 4×4 and 6×6 drive, and the vehicle can overcome ramps up to slope of 45 degrees, which is (almost) too steep to walk.

The special features do not end there. The vehicle is equipped with 22 cameras, laser radar and microwave sensors, with the help of which he scans the surroundings on his way, over completely digital consoles (11 screens, six of which are touch-sensitive) in the driver's cabin, the user can monitor many driving parameters such as: infrared scanning of the road surface, pressure in Kevlar-reinforced tires, and can also communicate with aircraft. In a special room in bad ten meter long trailers however, it is particularly developed diesel motorcycle.

In the trailer, however, Ferren dedicated the space living space, which even rock stars would not defend themselves, as the small family has at its disposal environmentally friendly bathroom, advanced kitchen and living spaces at the level of a five-star hotel, and he gave his daughter Kira on top of the trailer a real place to enjoy as a kind the tree house. Ferren plans to go on a journey through with Kiravan Mojave Desert, and continue the journey towards Canada all the way to Europe and end the journey in Africa, where the destination will be the biggest and harshest deserts.

Ferreen is proud of his creation, but by no means wants to say, how much the said project cost him, or what is the actual price of Kiravan. But something is definitely true that she would be for such a vehicle, with with minor modifications, many armies are also interested.
