What does your kissing style say about you and your relationship?

In her book, kissing expert Sheril Kirshenbaum defined the different types of kisses and their meaning. What does your kissing style say about you and your relationship?

The way we kiss our partner apparently says a lot about us - in a book The Science of Kissing: What Out Lips Are Telling Us Sheril Kirshenbaum described the most popular kissing styles and for each provision, what it means to us and for our relationship.

Your kissing style:

A kiss. It is probably the most popular form of kissing right at the beginning of a new relationship. If sparks fly between you, then a kiss like this will lead to other kinds of kisses. If you are in a long-term relationship, a kiss can also act as reassurance or comfort.

A kiss on the cheek. A kiss on the cheek is a sign of affection and politeness and shows that we like someone. This does not mean that the person does not harbor romantic feelings, but this kiss is undoubtedly a sign of true friendship.

'Sugar' kisses. We all know them - they are passionate and indicate what our relationship will be like. Sheril says that this kind of kissing is most popular with men.

Kiss with closed mouth. In a fresh relationship, this can be a sign that we do not yet feel the most relaxed around our partner. If such kisses occur in a long-term relationship, this is a sign that there are 'emotional walls' between you.
