The invention of paper as we know it today has brought limitless possibilities for its uses - mankind uses it for various purposes, and this artist creates paper animal models whose grace will amaze you.
An artist Lisa Lloyd she had very exciting career over the past 18 years – she worked as animator, she directed musical films and was director of her own animation company in London. Experience in these areas brought her a lot knowledge, but she realized that she wanted to create more freely.
Before six years she started creating paper models. The first piece of art she made was 2D Paper Hummingbird. She was thrilled with the results, so it's quick fell in love with working with paper, and found that the whole experience relaxing, almost like meditation.
She later became member of the global group Paper Artists Collective, whose lineup consists of talented paper artists. There she also started experimenting with more demanding and difficult ones 3D models.
Average duration 5 days, to make one model, and the inspiration for them takes from nature. She likes details, so she really likes them too different patterns, symmetry, colors, geometry and textures. But the main goal is to create an exciting, new and fresh model, which is created as a fusion of all the above of the mentioned elements.
