Saudi Arabia has unveiled plans for the first luxury train, which will run along the local rails. It is the first luxury train service on the Arabian Peninsula, which will take travelers through the spectacular desert interior of Saudi Arabia.

The 40-cabin train, which will be built by the Arsenale Group, will take you on a 1,290 km journey across the Arabian Peninsula. All the way from the capital Riyadh to Al Qurayyat in the northern province of Al Jawf and to the border with Jordan. The journey is expected to take a day or two, and in between the train stops at a number of famous places such as Al Qassim, Hail and Al Jouf, on the edge of the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Nature Reserve. Bashar bin Khalid Al-Malik, chief executive of Saudi Arabia's railways, which is the main client of the project, said the rail service will allow Saudis and tourists to explore more of Saudi Arabia.

The railway carriages will be designed in the style of the oriental world. But the Saudis certainly entrusted the task to the right hands. Arsenale Group already cooperates with Orient Express in production La Dolce Vita, which will see the light of day for the first time this year. Arsenale has also signed a deal with the UAE's national railway company, Etihad Railway. This is for the development of a luxury train that will travel around the Middle East peninsula. This type of travel is expected to become more and more popular after the end of the pandemic.
