Evergreens they are always green and therefore fresh. This time, Apple breathed a little more freshness with a new version of the Mac Pro hit with a rather respectable configuration. The standard offers a four-core 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor, 2 GB DDR3 working memory. Graphics are handled by a standard ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT graphics card with 256MB of GDDR3 memory, with two dual-link DVI connectors. As an upgrade, we can easily think of the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB, and on order also the NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600, with an incredible 1.5GB of GDDR3 memory and a 3D-stereo port for stereo-in-window applications. Four 3.5-inch disk spaces without cables, with direct connection and built-in 3Gb/s Serial ATA channel, will be more than enough for data storage, which means up to 4 TB of space. If we run out of processing power, we enrich the motherboard with two Quad-Core processors at 3.2 GHz, which makes the MacBook an unprecedented 8-core beast.
