Attention, the dance front of our time is approaching - Festival Front@

Murska Sobota will once again become the European center of dance between August 28 and 30, 2014, as the 9th Front@ Festival - a contemporary dance festival - will take place there. The Front@ festival is a specialty, an important art festival in a small town, aimed primarily at visitors from four neighboring countries.

This year's ninth Festival Front@ will be opened by a French-German performance "border" ("Borderline") exceptional cast Company Sébastien Ramirez. The dance in the performance is an interesting mix of elements of hip hop, modern dance and breathtaking, virtual floating. Dancers in choreography Sébastien Ramirez and Honji Wang they looked for inspiration in their life stories and the stories of their parents who live in different, often very distant countries and cultures. Creative duo Ramirez-Wang is the recipient the prestigious "Bessie" dance awards, which is awarded in New York.

An outstanding British choreographer returns to the festival Robert Clark. This time he will present himself with a performance "same, difference, again". On the last day of the festival, the group will present itself La Intrusa Danza from Spain. He is coming to Murska Sobota with two performances, "Delta Victor" and "support" ("Staff").

Front@ also presents young talented dancers from an international competition OPUS 1 and pupils and students from secondary schools and academies from Austria, Croatia and Slovenia. Dance workshops under mentorship will take place as part of the accompanying program Robert Clarke. The ninth Front@ festival is marked by works with exceptional, partly also acrobatic dance, which reflects the hardships and frictions of our time. The special feature of this year's festival is the price of tickets one euro, and viewers can voluntarily contribute more. In this way, the organizers want to enable as many people as possible to watch top performances of modern dance.
