The owners of the company met during their studies, and after the experience of importing garden furniture from abroad in the 1990s, they decided that with their own design, they wanted to take laziness and relaxation to a new level, closer to art itself. Today, Royal Botania not only produces prestigious garden furniture, but also garden lights and bathroom furniture. One of the stunning novelties of this season is the Wave lounger. Its shape and attractive functionality will make it a dominant feature of our garden panorama. It was designed by designers Erik Nyberg and Gustav Ström. A synthetic fabric is attached to the frame of the lounger made of stainless steel. The roof area is covered by a semi-permeable fabric that acts as both a shade and protection from the sun, as it retains 86 percent of the sun's rays. The terrace, the edge of the pool or the beach can be decorated in white, grey, black or turquoise. The special feature of the lounger is its shape, which gives the impression that we are floating on it somewhere between the earth and the sky. It only touches the ground at one point, which turns any lazing around into not only tolerable ease, but into the greatest summer pleasure, which takes us to another dimension with a gentle rocking. Despite all the lightness and fragility of the appearance, the lounger is resistant to relatively strong forces. It easily copes with the weight of people, wind forces and capricious weather. At the last trade fair Maison & objet outdoor-indoor, the largest trade fair for outdoor furniture and equipment, the exhibitors gave the Wave lounger a special place precisely because of its exceptional shape. Relaxing lounging on a deckchair, which gives the impression that we are lying in the most comfortable treetop, in the middle of the elements of nature, but just the right amount of protection, was recognized in Slovenia by the experimental studio Prehod, which represents Royal Botania products here.
