With love, Nina

Although the letters have been around since the 1980s, they have only now been published in book form, and Nino Stibbe's first book is almost a bestseller.

Love, Nina: Despatches from Family Life is the title of the author's recently published book Nina Stibbe. It is her first work, which received a lot of attention from the very beginning and is considered a "must read" during the long November nights.

So what is it about? It takes place in the eighties, Nina Stibbe is a twenty-year-old girl who goes from her native Leicester to London to become a nanny. From here he sends letters home to his sister Victoria, and these letters form a book over three hundred pages long. They retain their original form, with the exception of minor cosmetic corrections (fine sanding) and, understandably, the removal or change of some names. So Nina describes her adventures in London to Victoria, describes the people she meets... - in fact, she describes what happens in a classic family. From the various reviews published so far, Nina is primarily considered a very entertaining writer, and her story is true, unusual, life-like, sharp, loving, fresh, fun and fun again.

Nina Stibbe: With love, Nina.

Her writing style attracted particular attention. As she wrote Kate Clanchy in criticism v to The Guardian, young Nina certainly does not write as you would expect from a naive twenty-year-old. On the contrary, her style is artistic, fun, transparent, includes carefully selected dialogue and has a fresh eye for detail. Undoubtedly, at the moment, they are predicting a great success almost after the scent of the printed book, and this may also be helped by the role of letters and classic mail, which today almost evokes nostalgia.
