Have you ever thought that your favorite smartphone maker could create a car? Well, Xiaomi, famous for its innovative mobile phones, is now crossing the threshold of the automotive industry with the SU7 model, which promises to compete with giants like Tesla and Porsche. Predictions about how the technological know-how will be transferred to the world of four wheels are high, as Xiaomi is known for its innovation and quality. At the same time, it is known for the fact that the brand is actually China's export window.

Xiaomi SU7 he is not just a new face in the car market; is a dream vision of the future, based on the company's commitment to become one of the top five car manufacturers in the world in 15 to 20 years. With bold plans to invest $10 billion in electric vehicle production over the next decade, Xiaomi is clearly showing its commitment to this ambitious goal. Of course, at this brand, they do not do all the development themselves. Most often, they find a brand on the market and take it under the umbrella of their own brand.

The SU7 model combines power and elegance. The single-motor RWD version produces around 295 horsepower and weighs around 1,978 kg, while the premium AWD dual-motor version produces a whopping 663 horsepower and weighs around 2,206 kg. This means that the SU7 is not only stylish, but also powerful.

The SU7 will be available in a variety of configurations, including the entry-level SU7, the more advanced SU7 Pro and the top-of-the-line SU7 Max, as well as a special 'Founders Edition'. Each of these variants will target different market segments, with Xiaomi likely looking to leverage its existing marketing channels and customer base.

The design is a mix of everything we've seen before

The Xiaomi SU7 boasts a unique blend of design elements inspired by various car manufacturers. The front part of the car with its aggressive and modern design is reminiscent of the British McLaren, which gives the car a sporty character. The rear end, with its fluid lines and distinct taillights, suggests the influence of the Kia brand, especially the Stinger model, which brings a sense of elegance. The side view is the one that most evokes the image of the prestigious Porsche Taycan, underscoring Xiaomi's intent to compete in the luxury electric car segment. Although the design may not be revolutionary, and although the NIO brand may offer a more unique design identity, the Xiaomi SU7 has managed to create a coherent image that successfully combines different design philosophies without coming off as excessively "Chinese" or imitative.

With the SU7, Xiaomi enters the electric vehicle market with a combination of style, power and innovation. With strong investments and a clear vision, we can expect this newcomer to become a major player in the automotive industry. Although plans for international sales are still unclear, it is clear that Xiaomi is not just another newcomer to the market; is a technology giant that has the potential to seriously shake up the world of motoring. The SU7 is not just a car; is a symbol of the technological giant's transition into a new era of mobility.

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi, which became known for its innovative smartphones, is now venturing into the electric vehicle industry. With the presentation, they reveal the vision with which they plan to become one of the leading car manufacturers in the world in the next 15 to 20 years. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun described the car as a "dream car" that will compete with brands like Tesla and Porsche. Lei also announced a $10 billion investment in the production of electric vehicles over the next decade. Production of the SU7 will take place at the factory of the state-owned manufacturer BAIC Group in Beijing, with a capacity of 200,000 vehicles per year. The batteries for the SU7 will be supplied by the Chinese companies CATL and BYD, the latter being one of the leading manufacturers of electric vehicles in the world.
