On October 15, the Year of the Cinema - Kinodvor 90 project will begin in Kinodvor, which will be opened by the film Erotikon, in which the first Slovenian film star Ita Rina also starred.
2013 is for Slovenian cinematography of special importance, as it is where two central film institutions celebrate their anniversaries - 90 years of the cinema on Kolodvorska Street, today's of the city cinema Kinodvor and Slovenian Cinematheque with the 50th anniversary of cinema screenings in Ljubljana. With the purpose of commemoration, and especially to revive the understanding of the importance of the cinema, which this social space of culture and art carries over time and space, they prepared a project Year of the cinema – Kinodvor 90, a year of celebration of cinema and film. As part of the project, from October 15, 2013 to the fall of 2014, in cooperation with the city and other cultural and educational institutions and organizations, numerous events and programs dedicated to film culture will take place.
