Recipe for edible New Year's decorations:

Ingredients for edible Christmas decorations:

  • 5 egg whites
  • 250 g of powdered sugar
  • half a lemon (for juice)
  • food coloring (optional)

Preparation of edible New Year decorations:
First, we beat the egg whites to make stiff snow, to which we gradually add sugar and lemon juice. Meanwhile, heat the oven to 120 degrees Celsius. For a colorful palette of decorations, divide the egg white mass into three parts. The first one remains white, and the two can be colored as desired with food coloring (instead of dyes, you can also use cocoa, raspberries, etc.). Mix them into the snow. The snow from the egg whites is then placed in a piping bag with a star formation, and after lining the baking sheet with baking paper, draw rings on it. Finally, the decorations can be sprinkled with crumbs. Place in the oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes (they should not brown). After they are baked, we wait for them to cool down, and at the very end we add a ribbon for hanging them. Happy decorating and good running!
