Cargo containers are modern, cheap and environmentally friendly. In some parts of the world, "container buildings" are growing almost like "mushrooms after the rain", and people like them precisely because of the ease of installation, the wide possibility of personalizing the building and, last but not least, economical construction. Take a look at 12 homes that are made from containers and in which you could live comfortably without any problems.

By combining two containers, we can add a higher ceiling to the central space in our "container house". Studio H:T placed the living room and kitchen in the part with the higher ceiling, while the bedrooms occupy the lower part of the building. The container house (pictured below) will be placed in a peaceful environment, will use passive cooling, have a green roof, and will use photovoltaics to generate electricity.

The lower structure, which was also exhibited in the New York museum Whitney Museum of American Art and Minneapolis Walker Art Center, is called MDU, or Mobile Living Unit. The design of the house was made by an architectural bureau Lot-EK. The house is intended for users who would like to travel with their residence - in that case, the outer parts of the house are simply pushed inward, and the house is sent by ship to another location.
