If you have run out of washing powder for laundry, you can use ingredients from your home kitchen that will also wash laundry, and are also environmentally friendly.

1. Vinegar

You can use this organic agent in different ways, and what you will definitely notice after the first wash is that your laundry is softer. The acid contained in vinegar prevents the growth of bacteria and mold, so it is a remedy ideal for washing clothes. It will successfully remove stains from clothes, destroy unpleasant odors and soften your laundry. Add the vinegar to the rinse compartment or fabric softener drawer.

The vinegar will break it down all the leftovers powder on the laundry and it will become fragrant and clean. If you are washing heavier items like towels, add a cup of vinegar, otherwise half a cup, and you can also add a drop of essential oil if you like.

2. Baking soda

It is an excellent alternative to washing powder. For laundry, you can make a solution with baking soda, soap and water. To thoroughly clean the machine, add baking soda to the washed powder dosing container and set the program to the highest temperature of 95 degrees. This way your machine will be thoroughly cleaned of all mold.
