In the rush of everyday life, we are focused on a thousand and one obligations, but too often we forget about ourselves. That's right! We are convinced that we must first arrange everything necessary, and only then we deserve some time to take care of ourselves. However, this is not necessarily the case.

Check out some easy tips on how to take a minute or two out of your busy schedule.

Start your day with gratitude

Our day is often characterized by haste, haste, from the moment we wake up. This is exactly why mindfulness experts advise that you use the first minute after waking up to calm down, as this will also make your day more peaceful and less stressful. Do some short stretches, then get comfortable and think about what you are grateful for in that moment.

Time-out

Sports coaches often ask for a time-out during the game, so why not take one too?! With the confusion of work and family obligations, you will be able to clear your thoughts a little with just a minute of break. It also works in children. Explain to your children that you will take five minutes to read, set the clock, and then join them in the game.

Exercise as time for yourself

Many people find the most relaxation in movement. If you have a little more than 10 minutes to spare, take a short walk to catch your breath. You will immediately see the world from a completely different perspective. If exercise is a certain exercise that you perform with the help of exercises on a screen, then explain this to your family members. If you get distracted during the exercise, start from the beginning. Eventually they will get used to it.

Breathing

Are you impatient when you find yourself in line? It's okay, we all are. Therefore, you can use the waiting time to breathe. Take a deep breath followed by a slow exhale. Repeat. A similar exercise can also be performed while sitting at a desk or while traveling on a train.

Bathroom

Ha, you heard that right. Mothers also have a little more peace in the bathroom, but if we set new rules, we can choose some time for ourselves right during the stay in the bathroom. Treat yourself to a bath, read a page in a book, while distracting the children with one of the games or activities.
