Back in shape: tips and tricks to get you started exercising

Every now and then we look in the mirror and tell ourselves it's time to exercise. We will find time to exercise for abdominal muscles, for strong arms and legs, we will shape our thighs. And that right on Monday! Because we know you have to start somewhere, we've just put together some tips and hints to start your magical transformation. Remember: increase the load slowly and gradually!

Tips and advice for starting physical exercise:

Go for a walk.

Walking is an easy and effective way to get back in shape. Start with small goals: go for a daily walk around the neighborhood, and gradually increase the distance. You will soon notice that you can walk long distances without breaking a sweat.

Choose your favorite sport.

There is nothing worse than monotony. It doesn't matter how interesting it seems in the beginning, you will stop as soon as it gets boring. So rather opt for something that you really enjoy.

Strength training is important, but it's not for everyone. Some people easily get lost among all the devices. Try strength exercises with your own body weight instead. They are just as effective, but at the same time you don't need additional equipment.

Go spinning.

Spinning is a great cardio workout. You are in control of the bike and can take a break whenever you feel too tired.

Body flexibility is often overlooked. Yoga is a great way to make muscles beautiful and flexible. Start with the easiest positions and gradually move to more complex ones.

Watching exercise videos is a great motivator. You can find a wide variety of workouts online that either target the full body or just specific parts of the body. Try to follow one and listen to the trainer's instructions.
