Valerij Rozov became the first person to perform a BASE jump from the highest mountain in Africa and the highest solitary peak on Earth, Kilimanjaro, using a wingsuit. The 50-year-old Russian is no stranger to such daring feats, as he has already jumped from Mount Everest (from a height of 7,220 meters). This time the push-off site was at 5,460 meters from the top of the Western Breach wall, which is much lower, but this environment is still considered inhospitable for BASE jumpers.

It took 99 years at the Fabergé jewelry house to hatch a new jeweler's work of art, a pearl imperial egg made of 139 small white pearls and more than 3,300 diamonds, accompanied by other precious stones.
